JUNIOR INFANTS ASSEMBLY
Dear Parents,
As you are aware, Junior infants will be having their very first assembly on Friday 15th June. As part of the preparation for the assembly, the children will each have to learn a line off by heart to be said at the assembly. We will put your child’s line in their bags this week for them to practice at home every day.
For the assembly, children have the option to dress up as an animal of their choice. Below is a list of the animals in the play, you can choose anything from the list or something different. Please talk to your child about the animal they want to be. A lot of children may have animal themed costumes/pyjamas/clothes/hairbands/ slippers etc. at home already and you may just want to use these. We encourage you to make use of what you already have. If you could let us know what animal your child will be by next Tuesday, via a note in the bag, that would be great. We are also looking for 1 unicorn costume and 2 alligator costumes. If anybody has anything that would be appropriate and would be willing to send in (and be used by another child) we would really appreciate it.
You may also wish to paint your child’s face for the assembly that morning. We will not be providing face paints in school as a precaution in case children are allergic or have sensitive skin.
