24th of May
We have had another fun month in school. Two of our boys joined with their second class for the Day of Celebration. Thanks to Paula and Yvonne and the parents for such a lovely night.
Our stories this month have been “Where the Wild Things Are”, “We’re Going on a Lion Hunt” and “We’re going on a Bear Hunt”. We also did lots of work about our families this month and created beautiful drawings of them
Hello everyone, we have had a lovely spring time in our class. We took a trip to the Botanical Gardens in March to look for signs of spring.
We planted some seeds to observe the life cycle of a plant. Look how big our seedlings have grown.
Our class tour this year was to Imaginosity and all the boys had so much fun at the Childrens’s Museum.
On top of that those trips and activities the class have now read all “The Pigeon” books by Mo Willems and most everybody can quote them from start to finish (=.
We had a great week for Book Week. Today we read ‘The Tiger Who Came to Tea’ then we imagined a real tiger had come into our class during lunch time. We took photos and then re-wrote the story on the whiteboard. Here are some of the photos.
This was so much fun. The boys were also learning about shape this week and everyone did great work recognising lots of different shapes in our classroom. Next week is Maths Week so we will be doing lots more fun Maths games and activities. Enjoy the weekend!
