The children in 1st class enjoyed learning about magnetism today. They learned that pulling force of attraction you feel as magnets stick to each other is the north pole of one magnet drawing the south pole of another magnet toward it. Identical poles will repel (push away) each other. So when it comes to magnets, opposites really do attract!
1st class had great Fun in the Sport Ireland National Indoor Arena in Blanchardstown. They took part in a series of Athletics skill stations. Have a look at some of the Pics from today!!!More to come!!

Our annual Art Exhibition is a highlight and demonstrates the amazing talent in the school. Amazing work by all the children, and their teachers.
We are looking for fabric for the fabric and fibre strand in Art, so if you have any old fabric with nice, colourful patterns (pillow and duvet covers, tea towels, dresses, shirts, scarves etc.), it would great if you could send them in to any class teacher or Yvonne (Junior Infants). Thanks, Yvonne
