The Green Team is running a very exciting competition where winning entries will be turned into real signs for our school grounds!
Each class level will be given a different biodiversity area sign to design. One child per class level will have their design printed onto a sign and displayed.
The sign each class level will design is listed below:
Junior Infants: Junior Infant Garden
Senior Infants: Senior Infant Garden
First Class: 1st Class Garden
Second Class: 2nd Class Garden
Third Class: Our School Pond
Fourth Class: Our Polytunnel
Fifth Class: Our Sensory Garden
Sixth Class: Our Swift Nest Boxes or Our Outdoor Classroom
We also need a sign that says 'Welcome to C.E.T.N.S'. This sign design be a whole school competition so we will be accepting entries from all classes for this!
Our printing company offers the following tips:
- Draw on an A4 sheet.
- Add as much colour as possible.
- Keep any text etc about 2cm away from the edges.
Entries for both competitions will be collected by the Green Team on Friday 1st March.
