3rd class have been learning a lot about mindfulness and wellbeing. We went on a mindful walk around the school both indoors and outdoors where we noticed what we could hear and what we could see.
We have been practising gratitude by filling in gratitude journals noting down things we are grateful for, thinking about what went well during the day and also noting down our thoughts and feelings. We have been practising different mindfulness breathing exercises that we know we can use when we need them including butterfly breathing.
Also in room 10, we have been learning all about the Vikings and are creating projects on the chromebooks in our groups. We are also in the process of designing Viking long ships. We are designing them so that they will be able to float on water. We will test this out once they are built! Check out our work in progress designs below!
We are really enjoying being able to go onto the field for yard and are enjoying the sunshine!
