All classes watched videos on neurodiversity. Pupils had discussions on how many brains are wired differently and this is a wonderful thing. We learnt about the magnificent brains of many people who have made great contributions to the world who have dyslexia, dyspraxia and adhd. 2 of our students made an announcement about what dyslexia meant to them and strategies that help with their dyslexia. Some pupils made beautiful artwork on neurodiversity. October is also dyslexia, adhd and dyspraxia awareness month and we have a long term display on Neurodiversity upstairs outside 5th class.
