This year marked our second New Year, New Light Festival at Castleknock Educate Together National School, and once again it was a wonderful celebration of community, creativity and togetherness.
Organised by our fantastic Parent Association, who worked tirelessly to make the event such a success, this year saw even bigger numbers as word spread about how much fun was had last year. The children loved exploring the school, both indoors and outdoors, with their array of lights, from torches and head torches to beautifully decorated creations.
The hot chocolate went down a treat on the evening, along with the many art activities, passport stamping and other wonderful experiences on offer. The lanterns that each child received, along with their goodie bags, added an extra touch of excitement and made the night even more special. The displays outside the classrooms looked fantastic and added to the magical atmosphere throughout the school.
