Day of Celebration

This annual event in CETNS is celebrated in 2nd class to mark the children's transition from the junior to senior end of the school. It celebrates all the child's life achievements so far. There is an evening celebration in the P.E. hall with families to showcase all the children's work, songs, poems, artwork and timelines. This is followed by a party with food for everyone after the ceremony.

The children usually create a timeline which includes their milestones with accompanying photos. Each child is interviewed for what they would like their future profession to be! A powerpoint is created with both a baby & a current photo of each child holding their chosen future career poster. An individual photo is usually taken, printed in black and white and framed for each child. Each child also gets a T-shirt with C.E.T.N.S. Day of Celebration printed on it. Other activities may include memory boxes, self-portraits, letter to future self or an acrostic poems.
