First class have been learning about Spring. In Maths we have been learning about time and made posters for each season, but we were very excited to find out more about Spring.
We brainstormed words associated with Spring and signs of Spring that we had observed recently. When it was time for our science lesson we got our clipboards out, partnered up and went outside on a Spring hunt. Our checklists included seedlings, daffodils, birds, insects, blossoms and buds. The only item on our checklist that we didn’t spot around the school was a lamb, even though some of us thought our classmate’s fluffy jacket might count 😉
We had so much fun on our Spring hunt that we wanted to find out even more about Spring. We thought about the special occasions that take place in Spring and we even made Spring finger paintings in art.
We are all looking forward to finding out more about the next season….. SUMMER!
