St Vincent de Paul, Blanchardstown Food Appeal from December 6th - 10th
As well as donating non-perishable food items this year, you can send in tinned food, boxes of biscuits etc., SVP has also launched a new Virtual Food Appeal at svp.ie/virtualfoodappeal. Donors are invited to buy a virtual hamper on- line. All of these donations will be ring-fenced specifically to help families with food requests. Every year, SVP provides help with food to thousands of families throughout the winter. And this winter, more than ever, it wants to make sure every family has what they need. Bling Your bike winner
As we won the Fingal County Council Bling Your Bike competition, we received a €250 Cycle Zone voucher and we look forward to spending it in the new year for some fun cycling related products. A special thank you to all who participated in the Bling your Bike competition back in October.
CETNS RAK Day
Tuesday 30th November was CETNS Random Act of Kindness Day. Every member of our school community will be taking part in our RAK day. If your family/child has something kind you have done/plan on doing, can you please email secretary@cetns.ie and let us know as we would love to hear how we can all spread kindness. We will hopefully be collating all the information we receive and presenting it in a nice way.
CETNS Buddy Day of Festivities
Reminder for the Buddy Day of Festivities in the hall. We will have hot chocolate and two very short animations in the hall with buddies next Tuesday, December 7th and Christmas Jumper Day next Wednesday, December 8th.
Week of kindness and giving
This week of kindness and giving at CETNS will take place December 6th - 10th. As mentioned previously, we are encouraging anyone who wants to donate to the Peter McVerry Trust directly or online via Aladdin from Monday 6th December.
