No Single Use Plastic Week & COWOW Day
Just a quick reminder next Wednesday we are having COWOW (Cycle or walk to school on Wednesday). Please remind children to walk/ cycle/ scoot etc. There will be some bibs etc to give to students who have made an effort.
The Student Council and Green team will be doing a spring clean around the school from 9:00 – 9:30am.
Also from 4th - 7th June we are having No Single Use Plastic Week. Children should be encouraged to use reusable water bottles, to use lunch boxes rather than tin foil or cling film, to bring in small reusable containers for their fruit/ yoghurt etc. Here is a good website that tells the story of what single use plastic is doing to the marine environment. https://kids.nationalgeographic.com/explore/nature/kids-vs-plastic/#leopard-cub-with-plastic.jpg
