Dear Parents/Guardians,
Aisling's Amazing STEM Project!
Aisling Smith from Aidan's 4th class had great fun participating in the January Family STEM Project! Aisling designed a very creative project which she is calling a 'Sweet Swing!'. She constructed the working swing using wooden skewers and a variety of sweets! We are super impressed with your design! Well done Aisling and thanks for sharing your photographs with us!
Please continue to bring in your STEM projects or email in your pictures, we love seeing your creativity!
After School Activities
Spikeball continues for one more week with Liz and Andreas on Tuesdays. After the competition the activity will change back to basketball.
Soccer has started with Conor after school on Wednesdays for 5th & 6th classes only.
Parent Teacher Association
Are you free on Sunday, 11th February @ 1pm? We are heading to the Killiney Hill Quarry for the PTA Sunday Family Walk. It's a great opportunity for children and their families to meet up outside of school and spend some time in the great outdoors.
Meeting point: Top of the main carpark, under the trees.
We are finalising details for the Family Ceili which will take place as part of Seachtain na Gaelige in mid-March. Keep an eye out for exact date/time.

Special Needs Group Fitness Class
My name is Nicky Cosgrave. I am the Sports Co-ordinator at the National Sports Campus in Blanchardstown.
I just wanted to get in contact with yourselves to tell you about a class we have running in the National Indoor arena that some of your students may be interested in attending.
It is a fitness and sports class aimed at teens and adults with various types of special needs who may not have the confidence to go and train in any regular gym.
The class is led by Ellen and Luke.
Ellen is one of our most experienced gym instructors with experience working with St.Michaels house and Autism specific fitness classes and Luke is our head sports coach who runs our Inclusive Summer sports camps.
It is a great indoor class with a small number of participants that takes place every Thursday at 7pm. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me. nickycosgrave@nationalsportscampus.ie
